International Dance Day is a global celebration of dance, created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), the main partner for the performing arts of UNESCO.

The Wiesbaden Process was initiated by the Government of Germany in 2012 to strengthen the implementation of UNSC 1540 through Government-Industry partnerships.

 Although there are 53 members of the Commonwealth of Nations, 71 teams participate in the Commonwealth Games, as a number of dependent territories compete under their own flags.

The four Home Nations of the United Kingdom—England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland—also send separate teams.

Nine nations have hosted the Commonwealth Games. 19 cities in seven countries have hosted the event. Australia has hosted five Commonwealth Games (1938, 1962, 1982, 2006, 2018).

 Canada has hosted four Commonwealth Games (1930, 1954, 1978, 1994). Two cities have hosted Commonwealth Games more than one time: Auckland (1950, 1990) and Edinburgh (1970, 1986).

Only six countries have attended every Commonwealth Games: Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand, Scotland, and Wales.

Australia has been the highest achieving team for twelve games, England for seven, and Canada for one.

The 2018 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXI Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Gold Coast 2018, is an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth that is currently being held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, between 4 and 15 April 2018.

 The winning bid was announced in Basseterre, Saint Kitts, on 11 November 2011.

 It is the fifth time Australia has hosted the Commonwealth Games.

The 2018 Miami Open presented by Itaú (also known as 2018 Miami Masters) was a professional men and women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts.

 It was the 34th edition of the Miami Open, and part of the Masters 1000 category on the 2018 ATP World Tour, and of the Premier Mandatory category on the 2018 WTA Tour.

All men and women's events took place at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, United States, from March 19 through April 1, 2018.

 It was the last time the tournament was played at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park. It will move to the Hard Rock Stadium starting in 2019.

The Miami Open, sometimes known as the Miami Masters, is an annual tennis tournament for men and women currently held in Key Biscayne, Florida, an island town just off the coast of Miami.

 ICBM Sarmat was launched  from Plesetsk in northwestern Russia.
