India-funded school building inaugurated in Nepal

In Nepal, a new school building constructed with New Delhi's assistance of 38.60 million Nepali rupees was inaugurated

The three-story building of Kuleshwor Awas Secondary School comprises 20 classrooms, separate sanitation facilities for boys and girls on each floor, an underground water tank, a septic tank and furniture.

The school, established in 1989 by Kuleshwor Awas Pariwar Kalyan Sanstha, is run with community support.

At present, over 800 students are enrolled in the school. Of them, over 50 per cent are girls.
