Jair Bolsonaro sworn in as Brazil's president
Jair Bolsonaro, was sworn in as president of Brazil yesterday.
Mr. Bolsonaro took over as President at a ceremony held at the National Congress building in the capital Brasilia.
Mr Bolsonaro, won the presidential election by a wide margin against Fernando Haddad on 28 October.
Jair Messias Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician and retired military officer currently serving as the 38th President of Brazil since January 2019.
He served in the country's Chamber of Deputies, representing the state of Rio de Janeiro, between 1991 and 2018.
