Glenn Jacobs elected Mayor in Tennessee
WWE star Kane has been elected Mayor in Tennessee.
The 51-year old Republican, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, won two-thirds of the votes in Knox County, beating Democrat Linda Haney.
He ran on issues like keeping taxes low, improved infrastructure and transparency.
Kane is the second WWE star to win public office in the US, following Jesse Ventura.
Ventura was elected mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, in 1990, going on to be elected state governor in 1998.
