Irfaan Ali declared president elect of Guyana

 The presidential candidate for the main opposition People's Progressive Party/Civic, Mohamed Irfaan Ali, was on Sunday declared president elect of Guyana.

Mohamed Irfaan Ali   is a Guyanese politician who has been the President of Guyana since 2020.

He was previously a Member of Parliament[1] and the Minister of Housing

Guyana, a country on South America’s North Atlantic coast, is defined by its dense rainforest
