the International Cricket Council (ICC) today released the latest Test Player rankings.
South Africa's Kagiso Rabada regained his top spot among bowlers crossing the coveted 900-point mark in ratings.
Rabada is the 23rd bowler to cross 900 points and only the fourth South African player to do so after Vernon Philander, Shaun Pollock and Dale Steyn.
In the batsmen's list, Australian skipper Steve Smith was at the top while Indian captain Virat Kohli in the second position
. Cheteshwar Pujara maintains his sixth place in the rankings.
India ensured the number one spot on the Test Team Rankings and a prize of ten lakh dollar after their victory in the Johannesburg Test against South Africa in January this year.
India have already been presented with the ICC Test Championship Mace which is given to the team holding the highest rating.
South Africa are assured of the second prize of five lakh dollars.
