Newly discovered frog species
A type of burrowing frog discovered outside its natural habitat has been named after Bengaluru city.
it was Discovered in 2018
Researchers discovered this frog in North Bengaluru, during a survey around Rajankunte. These frogs belong to the species of burrowing frogs
Researchers gave it the scientific name Sphaerotheca Bengaluru.
