International Children’s Peace Prize 2019 awarded to Divina Maloum and Greta Thunberg
Divina Maloum (14) from Cameroon and Greta Thunberg (16) from Sweden both received the International Children’s Peace Prize 2019 .
Divina received the International Children’s Peace Prize for her peaceful fight against extremist violence and radicalization.
Greta received the prize for her international student climate activism.
The International Children’s Peace Prize is awarded annually to a child who has made a significant contribution to advocating children's rights and improving the situation of vulnerable children
The prize is an initiative of Marc Dullaert, founder of the KidsRights Foundation, an international children's aid and advocacy organisation based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
